Smoker's Paradise

The Boss wanted a design idea for a new outside deck. He wanted something with nice views of downtown. That was the only guidance I was given. I tried to create something with lots usable features for local weather coverage. The Boss wanted to try to get a corporate sponsorship, but so far after 7 tries . . . no takers. If they ever do get the $40,000 to build and equip the monstrosity, I think we'll probably use it for a week, then it'll become the perfect place for the smokers in the newsroom.

Look at the crappy job I did representing the fountain. but I was really pleased with how the decking and railing came out. The background is a series of video still frames that i stitched together. It actually shows the view from the proposed roof deck.
